Pine tar & Neem oil are soothing and moisturizing; many Asian cultures swear by the wound-healing properties of the neem tree.
Put them together in a soap, and wow! this soap is AMAZING. Pine tar has a sweet, woody scent that often takes over, but these soaps, at 7-10% pine tar, are mixed with some sage and dragon’s blood EO. The scent is wonderful, and it lasts.
Varieties:
Ash and Resin: This soap will quench the flames in your skin. Made with Pine Tar, Neem oil, AND activated charcoal, this soap soothes every time you use it. Activated Charcoal is especially good for people with oily skin. The batch with the flames on top has powdered goji berries for exfoliation. These bars are large, between 6 and 7 oz ea.
The Tar Bar: This unassuming bar has all sorts of benefits, with pine tar, goat milk, neem oil, and oats+neem leaf powder as exfoliants. Each bar is about 6 oz.
Tar & Toffee: These 5 oz. nuggets mix the best of pine tar, and honey. The fragrance, leather & smoke, comes through just a bit, not overpowered by the pine tar.

Ben’s first “bar o’ Joe” was a pretty simple bar; but as he realized how great they smelled, he got serious about his coffee soap. Some folks drop a few coffee beans on top of their soaps, but Ben make his beans OUT OF SOAP! Even the beans. Yep.
